COVID-19 has certainly disrupted the lives of many around the world, but just as we have adapted to this new normal, so has wildlife. We often hear stories of animals returning to previously-abandoned habitats or exploring new spaces that they once avoided due to human presence. But to what extent? How much has wildlife 'reclaimed' now that humans are stuck inside? A group of ecologists and researchers throughout North America have assembled to tackle that very question. In particular, they will be exploring the impacts of COVID-19 related travel restrictions on wildlife. Learn more about and follow their research here: https://www.c19-wild.org/
