Did you know that wetlands provides habitat for a wide variety and number of wildlife and plants; filters, cleans and stores water – in other words, acting like kidneys for other ecosystems; collects and holds flood waters; absorbs wind and tidal forces and provides places of beauty and many recreational activities.
