Projects & Initiatives
Grenada Fund for Conservation Inc. (GFC) delivers projects and initiatives that protect Grenada’s natural environment while strengthening community stewardship. Working at the school and community level, GFC raises public awareness of environmental issues and builds understanding of the connections between healthy ecosystems, livelihoods, and long-term resilience.

GFC supports, funds, and leads environmental restoration projects that safeguard critical habitats and species, with a focus on practical, science-informed solutions. These efforts are complemented by education and outreach programmes that encourage active participation and shared responsibility for conservation.

Where necessary, GFC also engages in advocacy and policy dialogue to promote legislative and regulatory changes that strengthen protection for endangered national and trans-boundary species. Together, these projects and initiatives form an integrated approach to conservation, ensuring that Grenada’s biodiversity is protected for present and future generations.
